Certified by ISO 9001:2008

In August 2009, SIAFARAS ELECTRIC SYSTEMS was awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certification. Following the ISO 9002 (awarded in 2000) and the ISO 9001:2000 (awarded in 2002), the new certification was a recognition of the company’s endless efforts to improve the quality of its production processes and services, to the benefit of its customers.

Our Low Voltage products satisfy directive 93/68, which includes directive 95/2006(Low Voltage) and directive 108/2004 (Electromagnetic compatibility).

PRODUCT QUALITY CONTROL

I) Our commitment to customer satisfaction is further exemplified by the quality inspection we are performing to all our Low Voltage products according to the European Standard ΕΝ 60439-1.                 

The quality controls are:

      - Visual inspection and dimensional check

      - Earth test

      - Insulation test

      - Dielectric strength test

      - Continuity-checks on wiring

      - Electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic auxiliary devices test

      - Mechanical operation test 

II) All Medium Voltage switchboards are constructed according to the International Standard EN 62271-200. Furthermore, we have successfully conducted the M.V. metal-enclosed cubicles' type tests, for SMS and SMS series (concerning SF6 disconnectors and Air disconectors respectively). All tests were conducted at CESI's accredited laboratory in Milan, Italy.
